Arduino Nano: Fire and Smoke Special Effect Machine

So, the Vape can run easily on 5v. It has a small LiPo battery w 1100mah in it. You just use a 50/50 mix of glycol and distilled water. This works great.

From the data sheet.

FQP30N06L
60V LOGIC N-Channel MOSFET

Rds(on)

VGS=5V,ID=16A @ 0.035 0.045 ohms

Thanks for your help!

So that thing on your other thread worked out?

You could go over there and mark as solved and/or say so.

Not sure yet. Waiting for a part to arrive so I can try it. I'll let you know if so.

It depends on the external power supply if the pump and vape pen will work. What's the spec of the PSU?

And the led strip is still powered by USB. Unless I missed that, you still have not revealed how many LEDs are on the strip.

I'm also working on a similar project. And I got it working with the following solution:
-Use a drv8833 module. This will handle the vape and the pump. And you can power it externaly.
-The vape itself needs atleast 1A current to heatup properly + The pump + IR + microcontroller + leds. So you better get a decent powersupply for it, atleast 2A. A powerbank with two usb output is the best option. You power the microcontroller, IR and leds from the same USB. Then you power the drv8833 module from the other USB.
-For the best smoke effect receipt:
Propylene Glycol (PG) + Glycerine (VG)
(70PG/30VG or 60PG/40VG)
This will produce a thich, heavy smoke
