Arduino nano RP2040 Connect breaks with Sample sketch

Hey,

Im trying to receive IR codes using a TSOP38238 and the IRremote library. I tried using tinyreceiver which kinda works - No serial output however I do get the LED blinking when I press a button on my IR Remote. As soon as I upload the Simple Receiver sketch however, from the examples tab, the RP2040 breaks, as in needs to go into recovery and working sketch flashed to fix it. USB doesnt get detected anymore, no serial output, no connecting without pressing the button twice to get it to go to the bootloader. Whats going on?!

Your code mentions

Its an example file, but its a .ino. Unsure why it mentions cpp....
