Arduino nano with a USB type A connector?

Who of us would like to have an Arduino nano with a USB type A connector?
That means it could be directly used as a USB stick on the computer without any additional cable?

I wonder If I am the only one, who would like to have an Arduino nano with a USB type A connector?
That means it could be directly used as a "USB stick" on a computer without any additional cable?

Will not work. Standard Arduino is a USB slave, USB stick is a USB slave - need a USB Host (master) in the mix.
You can find USB Host shields that use MAX3241E chip as the host controller, an Arduino controls it over the SPI bus.
This one comes up a lot in USB host discussions:

I feel misunderstood.
The USB-type A connector just would take the place and functionality of the actual USB-mini socket. That means you will not need an USB cable anymore to connect it to the computer.
You plug the Arduino into you USB socket, that's it!

Why would I want to get on my hands and knees every time I wanted to program it?

For the programming and debugging you will (of course) use an USB extension cable.

In everyday use, as an interface or as a radio receiver/transmitter, you save an additional cable and have nothing dangling around.

See that example of a proprietary atmel based CUL (radio interface)

I use to use Arduinos connected to Rasbberry Pis since they are 5V and have analog inputs.
In the electronic cabinet, the USB cable and the connectors take a lot of space and I need a bigger cabinet.

Interestingly, just the other day I was reading messages in another forum from some people who really HATE this style of board.

Digispark also does this, but they're tiny... https://www.tindie.com/products/digistump/digispark-the-tiny-arduino-enabled-usb-dev-board/
