have got some Nano's from ali. they have an usb-jack what i have no
cable for.
is it possible to supply power by a certain group of pins ?

oh, i'm sorry, have forgotten : yes , would like upload sketch and in one case,
transmit data to a pc-application.
at least, substitute usb-jack..

on the nano, i dont find any text about nthat..
The USB cable is essential. How else are you going to program them.
Try a USB cable from your cellphone.
Note that there can be several versions of the Nano, with different types of USB sockets.

my fault, i know..
for my smartphone i have a connector with 3 cables, but nothing of that fits for
my nano
think, i'll look at our media market to find any, if not availoable, will sell the nano's by ebay , and buy new ones Not from ali..
If the Nano is the classic version you can program it without using the USB connector but if you do not have a USB lead for it (probably a USB Mini connector) then you are unlikely to have the hardware to program it without one anyway

Your linke shows a (clone) classic nano and hence your topic has been moved.
You can use a so-called FTDI adapter (make sure it has the DTR pin broken out). This cable will also do: FTDI Cable 5V - SparkFun Electronics.
But if you have to invest money I suggest that you buy a proper USB-C cable.
The Ali page shows 3 different USB connectors available, miniB, microB and type C, Which did you buy?
I think the OP should just buy at least two cables of each type. That gives a spare if something fails. It will also allow the OP to work on communications between them with two IDEs open.
