hello. Thank you for viewing my article.

  1. Crystal Model Name:

If you look at the circuit diagram above, you can see the information of the crystal. In the case of crystals that we usually buy
You need to set '16MHz' and '(value)pF'.

Where can I use value? I wonder.
for example,
C(XTAL1) = 22pF
C(XTAL2) = 22pF
when,
What value should the crystal capacitor be? And what is the scope? I wonder.

This is not a crystal, it is a Ceramic Resonator.

Dear LarryD , @LarryD

Thank you for your kind reply.

I think I posted the schematic wrong. I'm curious if it's a commonly used crystal.

There were several types depending on the pF, but I wonder to what extent there is no problem with 'Arduino Uno'.

Does it really matter if I use 18-28pF crystals?
I wonder.

If you are making a similar circuit suggest you just try to see what happens.

However, from past experimental situations, makes no difference.

Doesn't the resonator data sheet reveal more?

hello. thank you for the reply.

The capacitor values of C1 and C2 are fixed at 22pF,
The crystal's capacitor value is an arbitrary value between '18-28pF'
so far there has been no problem.

This is a question I am not familiar with.
I was wondering if this would affect the controller(Arduino MCU).
