I am new but want to make something cool with the IR reader and remote but dont know what pls help. (sorry if spell something wrong not good english)

Install this library https://docs.arduino.cc/libraries/irremote/ look at the examples. There will be an example that will print out the values received from the remote. Connect a 3 pin IR receiver module and press buttons on the remote, you should see the received codes on the serial monitor.

It’s called a receiver, not a reader. I understand you, but if you want to search for one then use “IR receiver”. Do you have anything to receive the IR? If you need to buy one, see the note under the picture TSOP4838.
