Arduino walkie talkie

HI,

I am using 2 Arduino nano boards, with the ATMEGA328P microcontroller. i was making a walkie talkie with a simple Microphone analog circuit. im using a 9V battery to power all the sensors and circuits + the board. whenever i plug in my Arduino to the battery they dont send voices but they make sounds like "tik tik tik". and some very low electronic noise that changes pitch after i click the PTT (push to talk) button.

heres my microphone circuit:

Where is the amplifier for your mike?

Is it a PP3, fire alarm battery? If so, put i back in the fire alarm, or the remote... Get a proper supply!

Isn't it that transistor with the two resistors not connected to anything according to the Fritzing?

Where is the speaker?

Hi,
Where did you get the code?
Can you please post a link?

Thanks.. Tom.. :+1: :coffee: :australia:

People use a schematic drawing to avoid the confusion that occurs when pictures are used instead of the schematic.

Hi,

Please reverse engineer your project and post an image of your hand drawn result.

Do you have a DMM?

Didn't this exact problem come up about two months ago.

It turns out that this is a project from some web site and the tick tick tick noise is caused by not having a correct microphone input. Read the comments at the end of the article to see a user who had exactly the same problem. He was advised to use an amplified microphone module and reported success with that.

Looking back it was only 12 days ago and here

I doubt if even when you have wired it up correctly you will get enough gain from a single transistor amplifier.
