hi, could you show me how to connect 9 single rotary encoders KY-040 to my arduino mega 2560. i am building my cessna 172 home cockpit panel......( i need to know the cables connections....). thank's a lot !!

A quick google search for KY-040, and the second hit was for a KY-040 Arduino Rotary Encoder User Manual. It's only 4 pages but it explains how the switch works and includes a simple Arduino sketch. You could use that sketch as the starting point for adding further rotary encoders.
