I was given an assignment with no prior knowledge of Matlab and little arduino experience. I have the arduino UNO i believe. We are suppose to make some program, we have a potentiometer and a speaker.
here is the given assignment:
"I would like that project to include some user input, some hardware interface, and some response. Ideally, this would include a Matlab script or function to interface to the Ardiuno over the serial port."

If this is a class where the instructor is being paid, then tell the instructor that his instruction is inadequate for the assignments he/she is making (aka, start earning the pay). Use the search box in the upper right of this page and search for Matlab.
Can you tell us what sort of class/instructor expects you to do this assignment, with no preparation in either topic? This is ridiculous!
No our instructor literally introduced matlab during out last class meeting. He also had us using different arduino boards so i wasnt sure which board we were using and it is the UNO board.
All in all i need help and none of you are helping.
