Hi - I've used both the Wiring and the Arduino boards and they are both great. I am wondering though - since both boards now use the atmega128 chip - why there are differences in, for ex. memory (Wiring: 128k, Ardunio 16k). Does Wiring have an additional memory chip?
As far as I know, the Arduino uses the ATMEGA168 chip (16K), not ATMEGA128.

Yes, because the Wiring board is minimum 3 times more expensive, but could use the complete Wiring software to drive it !
Ah I think I'm gonna start tinkering with a home made wiring board, if a have time to design it.......

I don't think it would be that hard to make an Arduino based on the 128. The only issue is seems to be that the Arduino team doesn't want to complicate their product lineup since they don't want to confuse new users.
I'm not a software genius (far from that) but on the hardware side I can do it.
So, I guess I can use the Wiring bootloader (if availaible), as the GUI is almost the same (I love it for it's ease to use) and make a 128 arduino for not too much money.......
Kendo (or is it Kenda, Kondo) makes a support for the 128 that makes it easy to integrate on a board.
