ATMEGA328PU vs. ATMEGA328 PN

Hey guys.
I need a large amount of ATMEGA328PU but as everyone knows there is a shortage of it.
I have two questions:

  1. Will the ATMEGA328P-PN do exactly the same job?
  2. Does it contain the boot loader.

Thank you very much

Thanks
I saw this post, I would love if you could explain to me what the conclusion is about ATMEGA328P-PN

The conclusion is that the only difference between the ATmega328P-PU and ATmega328P-PN is the temperature rating.

The -PU variant is rated for use in the temperature range -40 C to 85 C
The -PN variant is rated for use in the temperature range -40 C to 105 C

So the ATmega328P-PN is actually a superior part, but functionally equivalent to the ATmega328P-PU if your application will never subject it to temperatures >85 C. For this reason, we would normally give preference to the cheaper and more commonly available ATmega328P-PU. But in these troubled times for sourcing silicon you might have to take what you can get regardless of the price.

You can verify this by checking section 38.8 of the "ATmega48A/PA/88A/PA/168A/PA/328/P" datasheet, downloadable here:
