In Arduino Cloud I select a sketch and I modify It in Cloud Editor, then I return in Cloud Home page. If I return in Cloud Editor by selecting the same Sketch, the changes made previously are not present.
The "Automatic saving" flag in Cloud Editor is enabled.
Enabling "Automatic saving after verify" the result does not change.
The issue is present on different PC with the same Arduino Cloud account.
PC is equiped with win11 and internet is working well.
I tested with different browses (chrome, Edge…) but nothing change.
What is the exact procedure you are following to "return in Cloud Editor by selecting the same Sketch"? Are you selecting it via the "Recent Files section on the Arduino Cloud home page? Or are you selecting it via the "Sketches" page? Or, assuming it is a Thing sketch, are you selecting it via the "Things" page? Or are you selecting it in some other manner?
Currently the problem occurs with a non-iot sketch. To check if the problem occurs with an iot sketck, I created a device and then I tried to create a thing but the option to activate wifi does not appear (see screen-shot below) and if I will try to generate the sketch I receive the warning below. I have a free plan.
It is possible that the same underlying issue is causing both this error and the failure to save the sketch.
I'm going to ask you to provide some additional information that might help us to identify the problem.
This procedure is not intended to solve the problem. The purpose is to gather more information.
Please do this:
Use your web browser to perform any actions that are needed to prepare for reproducing the sketch generation problem you encountered before, just as you did before when you encountered that "Sketch not updated!" error.
Right-click (Control-click for macOS users) on the web page.
A context menu will open.
Select "Inspect" from the context menu.
A developer tools panel will open in the browser.
Select the "Console" tab from the top of the developer tools panel.
The web console will open in the developer tools panel.
Click the icon ("Clear console") icon that is located near the top left corner of the web console panel. ⓘ This is done to clear any irrelevant console content that was generated previously.
Click the "GENERATE SKETCH" button.
Right-click (Control-click for macOS users) on the content in the web console panel.
A context menu will open.
Select "Copy console" from the context menu.
This will copy the selected text to the clipboard.
Open a reply here on this forum topic by clicking the "Reply" button.
Click the <CODE/> icon on the post composer toolbar.
This will add the forum's code block markup (```) to your reply to make sure the error messages are correctly formatted.
Press the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut (Command+C for macOS users).
This will paste the browser console content into the code block.
Review the pasted browser console content to ensure it doesn't contain any personal/sensitive information that you don't wish to share. If it does, you can replace that content with a placeholder. It will be useful to add a note regarding any such redactions in case the original content was specifically relevant to the investigation.
Move the cursor outside of the code block markup before you add any additional text to your reply.
Click the "Reply" button to publish the post.
Please let us know if you have any questions or problems while following those instructions.
