avr-g++: error:

Hello,

This error message appears when i either upload or verify a sketch, i have followed all trouble shooting options proposed on other threads which explains why i have created a new post as i have ran out of options.

The options i have tried are:
Check whether Cygwin is installed.
Check for the GCC system variables under system properties (I'm running windows)
check for the path of the GCC variable through an echo command in CMD.
Reinstall Arduino Software
Reinstall Windows

:frowning: unfortunaltly no luck in all of them.

Would someone propose new options, i don't seem to face this issue on my other PC

what is the error message exactly?
what is the code you use?
what version of windows do you use?
which version of the IDE do you use?

The error message is as follows:

compilation terminated.
Error compiling.

The IDE is Arduino 1.5.8

The error appears with any sketch for example ReadAnalougeVoltage

My OS is windows 7

hello my friend pleas help me.

I new have been install Arduino 1.6.1 in my laptop (windows 7). when I upload (verify) a program such as

Blink example this get me a error. this cant compile a program. error is following:
