Funnily enough, I think I have a couple of BS2 boards in my kit left over from around 1991.
I used them at the time, great little tools.
(one significant project was controlling the ‘game wall’ for Wheel of Fortune’, driven by a touchscreen PC application on a number of PCs for contestant lecterns, back stage and the ‘used letter’ wake.
Used MIDI to fire audio cues when needed !
A separate ‘game editor’ application prepared the phrases and prize options etc.
I remember the guy from King Features was impresses at the time, saying that they were working with SONY on a similar platform for future versions.
Because the stamps were interpreted BASIC, most of my projects moved on to PICs under PICC.at the time. Including the upgraded WOF wall driver.
