I'm using a Multistar Turnigy brushless DC motor which is controlled by a potentiometer. The circuit is as below. It worked perfectly fine. All I did was solder a few wires together but ever since the motor stopped rotating. it turns on and reacts to the change of potentiometer as I hear the different beeping sounds, but it doesn't rotate. it jitters slightly back and forth but doesn't rotate for some reason. nothing else was changed. I did try another motor thinking the motor was faulty but the outcome was the same; rather, worse as it didn't even jitter.
turn off the power, set the potentiometer to maximum, turn on the power, as soon as the engine beeps, turn the potentiometer to a minimum, wait for the second squeak, turn the power off and on, use
I don't know how but what you said made it work surprisingly. Although, when I turn the power off again after it worked, the same issue arises. Do I just have to keep doing this procedure every time?
