Hi guys, I am pretty new to Arduino, and I have a group project for the final of my engineering class. Our group was assigned to create a system that helps people with little to no vision play corn hole. Our plan is to have a speaker in, or near the hole, that the people can hear and locate in order to throw the bean bag. We tried using a Piezo speaker, but the problem is the speaker emits like two tones as it creates the frequency. The people we tested it with said that the tone made it difficult to locate the location of the speaker. I was wondering if there was a better speaker we could use that would help us with this problem.
Sounds like you have a piezo that produces its own tone, if you connect it to 5Vdc, what happens.
How did you connect the piezo to the Arduino?
What model Arduino are you using?
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
Hand drawn and photographed is perfectly acceptable.
Please include ALL hardware, power supplies, component names and pin labels.
