BMP180 with DHT11 Sketch Question

It was sold as a BMP180. But in a previous post (which apparently those who reply have not read) it has BME printed on the back. Though, as I have stated, none of the BME libraries work, but then again most of the BMP libraries don't either.

Probably wouldn't be 60 posts if people read the history rather than saying things like "post a picture" when that's one of the first things I did...pulling teeth indeed.

Fair go viper from this picture how is anyone to determine what the module type is ! :astonished:

Like I say bought as a 180 but it has BME printed on the back.

OOOH! now you're getting there.
Dr.GOOGLE tells us its BME280 and top of the list is :- I2C address for BME280 GYBMEP 0x76 · Issue #15 · adafruit/Adafruit_BME280_Library · GitHub
followed by :- Guide for BME280 Sensor with Arduino (Pressure, Temperature, Humidity) | Random Nerd Tutorials
and :- https://lastminuteengineers.com/bme280-arduino-tutorial/
:expressionless:
looking at the module it appear to have regulator and level shifter chips .......so 5v onto theUNO should be ok.

you could try the library from Seeed.studios , I've found them pretty reliable . GitHub - Seeed-Studio/Grove_BME280

you have to open this up in Paint or similar and increase res by 100% to read the notes

The only spanner in the works here is that I bought a second one to rule out sensor failure and it doesn’t have this (have no idea what the build up is!) and I still can’t get it to work.
