I have done burn Bootloader from a Mega to a Uno
without an error. Now I want to use IDE to upload
a sketch to the Uno but get error:
Sketch uses 2792 bytes (8%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 448 bytes (21%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1600 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x95
etc.
When I connect the mega direct to the IDE/computer and connect the Uno to
the mega same way as I did to upload the ISP to the Uno Mega uno
5v 5v
grnd grnd
53 reset
51 11
50 12
13 52
I have also changed the ISP sketch as above.
and select Uno,under Sketch, upload using programmer the sketch is
uploaded to the Uno. So I can upload a sketch via the Mega to the
Uno but not directly.
Did you try this after uploading the bootloader? If you did, the bootloader is overwritten. You must not upload a sketch via programmer after burning the bootloader.
After burning the bootloader I connected the Uno with IDE to
PC select board Uno, port etc. then try to upload sketch but
get the error as mentioned before:
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x95
What is the reason that you needed to burn the bootloader?
Reason for asking is that are two parts involved in uploading via USB. The 328P and the serial-to-usb converter. If the 328P is OK (sounds like it) the serial-to-usb converter might be faulty.
How is your Uno identified by the operating system? As "Arduino Uno" or as something else? If it's not identified as a CH340, you can run the loopback test (Loop-Back Test Instructions).
Which operating system?
The reason I replaced the processor is because I think the old one
is broken. I use Win 10 operating system and is identified as Arduino Uno
(COM5) in device manager.
More than likely yes. You can try to burn the firmware using your programmer or Atmel Flip; there is a slight chance that you can revive it. You can find the firmware in C:\Users\yourUsername\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\arduino\hardware\avr\1.8.6\firmwares\atmegaxxu2
