Hello, on one board i found this bridge rectifier. I am able to measure 230V AC on the input, but only about 50 V DC on output. Is this correct value?
Entire board seems to be "dead" and i am wondering if this is the source of the trouble?

Show us how you are taking the measurements.
Hi, @selit1978
Welcome to the forum.
What board?
Can you please post some images of the board so we can see its layout?
Thanks.. Tom..
Unlikely.
Remember 230 is AC the output of the rectifier is full wave DC.
AC is measured on outer pins, DC on inner pins, as shown on first atrachment.
Recrifier could be seen close to the white relay.
The low measured voltage is a symptom and probably a result of the actual problem.
Put your DMM on diode check, and measure Vf of the four diodes in the bridge.
I have seen bridges fail, but not many of them.
Leo..
Not according to the symbols on the rectifier, itself!!!!!!
Hi, @selit1978
Completely disconnect the 230Vac, and conduct the test suggested by @Wawa .
Thanks.. Tom...
PS. What is the PCB out of?
And you have selected AC and DC on your DMM when talking measurements ?
The exact opposite, according to the data sheet you posted.
The image you posted shows DC outer and AC inner, that is t he usual pinout.
Might have been brain fade (not enough coffee) when writing the post.
Tom.....
You are right. Measuring was done correctly, but i posted this wrong to theforum.
Out of coffee machine
The problem is the fault could be downstream of the rectifier , such as a failed capacitor or some other part , which pulls the voltage down or has damaged the rectifier.
I’d check the bridge as suggested as a starter .
There looks to be some heat damage by the device on the heat sink , so the bridge maybe a symptom , but not the root cause . So don’t just replace the rectifier without further tests .
