Hi,
I'm tring to transform existing and regular dump-truck to one's with remote controll using arduino. Which component/s will help me to lift the back area? it's existed manually but i want to make it by arduino remotely

If you’re worried about the mechanicals, depending in the load in the truck, i’d be looking at a dc motor and lead screw,or maybe a servo with some gearing.

In both cases, count your fingers before and after using the toy. :scream:

You could use a micro linear actuator. Theres a bunch of them on ebay, aliexpress etc

Is this a full size "real" vehicle? If so, how does it work now?

@testmail11 How big is this truck - is it N, HO, O or G gauge, or 1:1? If you can't answer that, tell us the distance between the two front wheels, we can work with that.

well for a full sized truck, you will need a driver? Or is it autonomous? Why not just buy an actual dump truck? What do you plan on dumping anyway?

Yea this is full real toy, but I have only the shield.. My goal is to upgrade it as make it remote controled truck, as a hoby..
I come from the coding world so the components and the mechanism are new to me. I have the relevant compontents for the other stuff, I just need to handle the truckload. The mechanism in place and works manually. but how Can I use it to lift it remotely?

What mechanism is in place?
Have you added anything to the model truck?

What parts do you want to control remotely?
Drive wheels.
Steering.
Tip tray.

I think we have a translation problem.

You need a micro linear actuator. You can get some very small ones. Should be able to get one the size of the plastic one in there. You can drive it off a small dc motor driver
