I am making a project on sound localizer ...i need to calculate time difference between two audio sensors(mic) which are located at two ends of breadboard so as to get itd(inter aural time difference) in order to create a sound localizer..what should i use to calculate itd in programming...should i use filters in my project tooo...??

i need to calculate time difference between two audio sensors
First, you have to define the features in the two input signals that match.
Post the code to do that (using code tags, of course) and we can help calculate the time difference.
The distance between the first and last row on a long breadboard is about 157.5mm, so a sound wave, shuffling along at 340mm per mS will take about 463 microSeconds to traverse that distance.
