Step by step...
You can start monitoring the heat. But it's missing the black insulator between pcb and dome.

Did you guys notice that on both BC337/2N2222 Emmiter-Base voltage is 5v? Is that a problem?

No, that's the reverse voltage it can safely withstand and not a problem with your application.

Show us that you start getting in to it... :+1:
Make the setup for 3mm 20mA LEDs, 3 in series with 100ohm 1/4W resistor powered by 5V supply.
Measure voltage across whole setup, across resistor, across one LED and calculate current draw.

Tnx. Are you rejected BC547 because I told that is current 100mA, or?

I found some inconsistencies in different datasheet.
One says for BC547 Collector Current 100mA, and another 500mA.
That is serious stuff! How is that possible?

That's good question. There are so many manufacturers in history for "BC547" and even more vendors, so it's a wild west. You might even find datasheet from one specific manufacturer from year X stating 100 and from year Y stating 500. Aliexpress vendor can state it even 5000...

Where did you find that 5v? :rofl: I have many USB chargers in that range? But they don't have connectors or wires which I can put on breadboard.

The data sheet with the 500 mA for a BC547 is a mystery to me. The BC537 and the 2N2222 on the other hand do have collector currents that are in that range. Maybe you just got them mixed up. Post a link to a data sheet with 500 mA for a BC547 and we can take a look.

Fairchild has made 500mA version at some point in history.

It looks like at one time in the past Fairchild made one. Fairchild Semi doesn't exist any more as a company OnSemi having taken over the business. I'm through talking about this part. Buy whatever suits you.

Just a tip, R3 you have as R100, if it is 100 Ohm, then use 100R, the R designates the decimal point.
R100 == 0.100 Ohms.
