I have 2 nema 17 step motor and i want them to run simultaneously. So i want to connect them one driver which is a4988. For this purpose i will doubled driver Max current. İs this possible? Are there any side affects? İs this recommended?

I would use 2 drivers with the coil current set properly and pulse their step inputs at the same time. Works great on my 3D printer Z axis.
