Can I use TCS3200 to measure turbidity?

I'm using a modified TCS3200 module to measure color within a tube. Would it also be possible to measure how much light is passing through the tube so that the turbidity can be measured?

The photos show the prototype setup I'm using. The red LED is just an example; I'll be using a white LED.

Yes, it can. A web search for "arduino measure turbidity" turns up several examples (mostly with other types of light sensors).
