Can I use this as an Arduino power supply?

Hi, I'm UK based and interested in this starter kit.

But it only comes with a US power supply, can I use the thingy in the link below, or will it fry my Arduino?

Thanks in advance.

Its a generic (clone) and I use a few with no issues at all so yes its a fair starter kit.

There have been some recent posts of people having issues with 12V supplies frying the regulator on the Arduino so maybe reduce that to 9V or a little less.

Good luck with your Arduino but warning it can be addictive LOL

You can also use a 5V USB phone charger connected through a USB cable.

Price: £1.00

Great, thanks both of you. I will aim for a 9 or 6v supply.
