Can you connect two different bluetooth modules at the same time?

I am planning to make the arduino use a bluetooth 2.0 module and a bluetooth 4.0 module at the same time, is that possible? I want the final user to decide which one to connect depending on their phone capabilities.

Why do think it requires two bluetooth modules?
