Hey everyone...I am trying to get a new board installed into my IDE, however I get an error message. The error message drove me to see if I could get to downloads.arduino.cc...and I cannot. Thinking about everything I could do to resolve the issue I have tried 3 different OS (Red hat, IOS, Windows), 2 different internet providers, and 4 different browsers. I cannot even download the latest IDE from navigating to it from the website. I get an error stating that Downloads is not being found....
Pert...No I cannot get to that link either...which is where I discovered that I cannot get to the downloads section.
Long day of troubleshooting...and oddly enough it seems that I can get to this site location from my parents house...which is on cable. However, Starbucks wifi, Version mifi connection, and my home connection cannot resolve the address.
I have called my local ISP for help with this issue as it seems that they are "Blocking" it or something...not sure why...but has anyone ever run into this before?
This sort of thing gets reported fairly regularly. It's typically related to network security settings. Maybe firewall software or general LAN policies (such as you would see in a corporate network).
