Cant change port!

So i just bought a new laptop for college but up til' now i was always using computers in college. im trying to upload a sketch to the board and it says

Arduino: 1.6.6 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Uno"

Sketch uses 3,448 bytes (10%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32,256 bytes. Global variables use 240 bytes (11%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1,808 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2,048 bytes. avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "\.\COM1": The system cannot find the file specified.

Problem uploading to board. See for suggestions. Board at COM1 is not available Board at COM1 is not available

This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilation" enabled in File > Preferences.

Have you looked in 'Device Manager' to see which port the Arduino is actually using? Then set that port number in the IDE.

Have you try to restart a pc? In some cases this procedure fix the problem. Good evening!
