Cant detect arduino nano

Hello guys, my name is shoham and I have an issue i cant solve that i would like your help with.
I have 2 arduino nano's. onw of them has type C entrence and is working fine' i can uplaod scketches, detect it in device maneger and all. unfortunatly the other one i have does not. It has micro usb enrence and when i connect it to the same usb port that the first arduino worked in i cant detect it in device maneger, i cant see the port in the IDE (just dont have the menu to open) and it has 2 leds on- the "ON" led and the "RX" led although nothing is connected to any pin.

i added some pictures to help explain my issue.

Thanks a lot for any help.

Your older Nano might have a different comm chip. Look on the bottom side for the many-leg I.C. and the printing to say "FTDI" or "CH340"... If it is CH340, you will need to download and install the driver (I think it is called CH341).

Welcome to the forum

Are you sure that the USB lead that you are using is a data lead and not just a charging lead ?

I agree. Start with physical inspection.

(sorry, I put the cart before the horse)

well guys it's a bit imberresing but after checking almost every cable i had at home problem solved, i guess it really wasnt a data cable. thank you all for the quick answers!
