Hey all!
I have an arduino nano ch340g and was trying to download the driver for it. I tried multiple websites including https://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_MAC_ZIP.html and CH340 Drivers for Windows, Mac and Linux. Unfortunately, my Mac blocked them and because the new update changed the layout of system preferences, I can’t find where I can unblock it, as all the tutorials are catered towards the old system preferences. Can anyone help?

Yup I did. However, I was stuck at this part where it went to system preferences. I tried the step after, but it didn't work, as I couldn't do the step before. I looked through the new system preferences, but I couldn't find where I could allow the load

Sorry, but I can't assist any further with a Mac install of the CH340 driver as I used the SparkFun guide to install the CH340 driver for Linux. It's just that I remembered seeing that it also supported installation instructions for Mac & forwarded it to you.
Hope someone else on here can assist you with the Mac installation.

I recently tried again, and the notification for accepting the developer popped up in my privacy and security. After accepting, the driver worked!
