Charge a battery

Hi Forum, I forgot my charger for my phone a my parrents place, and I relly need to charge it. Can I use my Arduino UNO to do this. The Battery is a 3,7V Li-ion (AB653850CU). I was planning to use the 3V output from the arduino. In the case I can do this, do I connect 3V to the plus on the battery?

Thanks

You absolutely cannot use the 3V3 pin to charge a lithium ion battery. Lithium ion require very carefully controlled charging curves and should only be done with a proper controller chip.

Most cell phone "chargers" are not "chargers". They are simply power supplies. If your phone charges over USB, then just use USB to power the phone, which has the required charging circuit built in.

Ok, Thanks
