Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a look. I really don't know the difference between a Photodiode and a LDR. I must study :slight_smile:

I found that a LDR with its hysteresis. Can be off by 30 minutes or so on a day to day basis when detecting sunlight.

This library works very good for determining sunset/sunrise.

I use a photodiode to detect daylight/nightlight a lot more reliable over a LDR.
