Class 3 Bluetooth Module

Hi everyone, i'm Adrian and i'm researching for my bluetooth door lock project information about Class 3 Bluetooth modules but there isn't too much info about it.

Is there a class 3 bluetooth module or maybe any short distance bluetooth module for arduino 1?

In the affirmative case, which is the module model ?

Hi,

Class 3 bluetooth module are very rare to see for arduino. How much short range module are you looking at? You can find all range of bluetooth modules here. I used HC05 module and used to get range of around 5meters when the specified range was 30ft.

I want a maximum of 1m aprox. because it's for a door lock app for smartphone !

Could I control the range witch HC05 ???

Or maybe could I control the BT signal power ???

Try shielding the aerial part (squiggly line) of e.g. a HC-05 module with some tinfoil.
Use heatshrink or tape first, so you don't short anything.

i just used a Hc06 on a uno board to control a LED with android. had daughter head outside to street worked 20 to 25 yards.
