I’m trying to make Alvik read a “GREEN” color but all my efforts are reading everything else but “GREEN”. I get “LIGHT GREEN” for classic green colors and for darker ones, i get yellow, brown or grey. Can anyone give me a HEX code for the sensor to read it as “GREEN”? I will print in through a Word document.
Is there green in the light source?
Object color detection is not a simple problem.
The color of light reflected from a surface depends very strongly on the light source(s), intensity, distance and orientation, as well as the actual surface material.
To correct the problem, look closely at the code that is supposed to perform the detection and the actual values returned by the sensor, when pointed at the object in the intended lighting environment.
You could compare the lowest red and lowest blue reading against green (the color).
