Controlling solenoid valve via arduino

Hello, I am a student in a vocational master’s program and I have a graduation project that talks about controlling a solenoid valve that has a 48v pneumatic actuator. I need an easy way to control it via Arduino

When you know the current necessary to control the solenoid, you will then look for a MOSFET that can handle 48 volts and be able to be controlled by your Arduino control pin. When you know which Arduino you will use, then the control voltage for the MOSFET can be determined.
In addition, you will need a diode across the coils of the solenoid to control the back voltage pulse when the solenoid is turned off.

Begin this whole project be making a block diagram showing all the pieces and how they will connect together. Include the power supplies.

48VDC or 48VAC? How much current? How fast and often do you need to switch it?

A solid state relay (SSR) as found on internet searches for "SSR-25DD" for DC or "SSR-25DA" for AC would probably work for many situations.

indeed 48V is a medium-high voltage which excludes various MOS-FETS as they are only suitable for 30V to 36V

wow Solid State Relays for DC! learned something new
did a quick googling and found this one

banggood does not always offer best quality but the universal inputvoltage which can range from 3V to 32V makes it very universalyl usable. At least an encouregement to search for a high-quality component.

best regards Stefan

Solid State Relay units like the SSR-25DD are available in other maximum currents and configurations.

See FOTEK for 5-75 amps. There's even a datasheet linked under FOTEK

Thanks for your idea ,my project is for regulating valve with positioner and expansion valve, how can i make relation with arduino

Begin with the block diagram as asked for.

Hi hemed,

you are welcome to the Arduino-Forum. Really. Even if my writing belows sounds different than "welcome". It is meant as speaking very clear and very direct what is important.
Take this as I'm taking you really serious.

basically there are two ways to finish your project:

way 1: engage a mechatronics specialist to do all the work for you.

way 2:

learn multiple things yourself:
lesson 0: learn how to describe a project with high precision

as longs as you describe the project as poor as

This is wayyyyyy toooo un-precise.
provide a datasheet of the solenoid valve
48V is an electrical spec pneumatic is non-electrical it is with pressured air.

What kind of actuator is this?
an electrical one or a pneumatic one???
So writing about a 48V-pneumatic-actuator makes no sense.

provide a datasheet of the actuator

any decisions on what to do next depend on the facts about the valve and the actuator
I will not speculate around or write down a 5 pages tutorial about all kinds of valves and "actuators"

best regards Stefan

This is the valve pneumatic i want easy way to controle avec smartphone

Thanks Mr Paul for your time ,this the picture exactly for valve pneumatic

I wrote this text in German (my mother tongue) and then had google-tranlate translate it into English. Then I took the machine-translated version from google into English and had it translated into French. So this is a DOUBLE machine translation. The Grammar is not so great but you understood it well!

Use google translate. It is much more important that you describe it in detail than to write a few words directly in English !!

this picture is

useless!!

no technical specs at all
