I am working on solenoid operation project using Arduino UNO and Relay.
Components which I have used :
Arduino UNO
Solid state relay
27 V DC solenoid valve
Jumper wire
Explanation of connection:
I have given connection from pin number 13 of Arduino as my signal input and this wire goes to input signal point of solid state relay
The green wire is 5v signal from Arduino to Relay
Yellow one is for ground
Purple one is code signal from Arduino to Relay
And white ones are going to IM valve and DC power source.
So using this circuit i am not able to operate my solenoid.
So need help regarding this issue...
Any suggestions are welcomed !
Thank you
Details of solid state relay used and circuit connection:
No.
A MOSFET only needs a certain voltage to turn it on, many can be connected to an UNO through a resistor. The current to operate the solenoid comes from your 27V supply.
Not silly but unless you want to do some studying on how a MOSFET switch works and building electronic circuits correctly, the module will make your life much simpler
Sir Recently we tried to control the Solenoid valves using the MOSFET you suggested. Tried everything but the MOSFET is not able to control the Solenoid valves according to my program.
Sir request you to share some more insight in this view and if possible a circuit diagram so that we can proceed further.
Does your 27 volt solenoid operate is connected DIRECTLY to the 27 volt supply?
Show a schematic or a block diagram of how you have connected the Arduino, the MOSFET, resistors, the solenoid and the 27 volt power supply. Are the grounds of the 27 volt supply and the Arduino grounds connected?
Hi
This was our connection setup.
We didn't used the resistors because we were having limited knowledge about connecting them.
So if you can help us with some circuit diagram regarding our case that would be great..
Thank you so much
