I'm looking at different connectors to supply power to solderable breadboards, but most don't show any current rating. One of the few micro usb connectors mentions 1 amp but I was hoping to find some for 2 amps. Would a different connector type like a barrel jack be more recommended for that amperage? With lightning cables in wide use, I would think 2 amp micro USB connectors would be more prevalent.

I had to google LMGTFY and fell into a recursive loop .
