I assume you mean one of the old National Semiconductor parallel 8-bit DAC's? I probably have a few in my junk box that are decades old and dusty. Why do you want to use a 30 year-old part?

I should add that you should be able to get a pretty good DAC with the Arduino's analogWrite() function and an RC circuit.

On the DAC0800? Possibly, if I absolutely had no other recourse. It's 2015, I'd just find a serial DAC instead...
Here are some 8-bit SPI interface DACs, 1 and 2 channels, single 5V supply vs the dual supply needed for the DAC0800.
10 and 12 versions in same family are also available.
Lot of SMD parts out there too.
Was there some particular feature about the DAC0800 that you needed?
