Datalogger with Arduino Giga

We want to save battery voltage, speed, temperature values, etc. to an SD card on Arduino Giga at 5-second intervals.

Can the USB-A port on the arduino giga be used for this? Can we use a USB SD card converter like in the image below? Is there any information for this?
