There is no analog circuit (maybe with transistors? resistors? capasitors?) that will take any press at the input short or long and will output only a short press (short pulse) ?

Do I need to connect the GND between pin IO_1 and IO_2 to the other GND or I can leave it floating?

The fact that the IO_1 pin accepts long and short presses, and that the manufacturer suggests use with a button, and that there are many projects on line that use the button, suggest to me that it is already internally debounced. I will troubleshoot the button asap. Here is my full schematics with the debounce button in case it will be needed. I including the power supply ( I will use phone charger +5V power supply - therefore the usb breakout module) Any comments on my circuit? [mp3player]

Would you recommend adding bypass capacitor 100nF between +Vcc and GND close to the mp3 module Vcc pin ?

You don’t need debouncing. If you want custom buttons control it via UART then you can add debouncing and custom presses. Also read this DF Player warning!
