i want to know when the board Portenta H7 is powered only by a Lipo 3.7V battery does the 5V pin still deliver 5V ?
Because i'm planning on putting the board into a box I don't want to use extra hardware so as not to take up too much space.

To get 5V out of a 3.7 battery, you need a "boost converter" which I believe the Portenta does not have.
Correct, even when using that connector, or any connector! The 5V pin is connected to a step down regulator and nothing else.
