In the past few weeks there has been a huge increase in the number of stupid polls being posted. Three choices - d, d, or 2.
I'd like to see the ability to post a poll restricted in some way. At the very least the New Topic button should be much more obvious/better positioned than the New Poll button.
In addition, the New Poll button should suggest that New Topic button might be more appropriate, and redirect the noobs there.
Why not have a poll to see if this is a popular idea

Just get rid of the new poll button and let people add polls to posts when they're writing them.
I haven't seen more than one useful poll yet (the karma one) - they're normally pointless as people don't normally add enough options or make them vague enough.
