eagle librar for arduino micro

Is there a library for the micro (R3) out there somewhere ? I only found libraries for the nano (www.cadsoft.de/downloads/libraries) and the eagle drawings from the official site but no libraries.

Like here?

Open the Eagle files, export whatever library you need.

I think he's asking about libraries with the outline of the Arduino Micro on it?

Try the Sparkfun and Adafruit libraries - I think one of them has it. I forget which, probably one of the sparkfun ones.

Unfortunatly I do get an import error if I use the sparkfun libraries:

Loading /home/moritz/eagle-7.5.0/lbr/sparkfun/SparkFun-Boards.lbr ...

Error:

line 6, column 41: This is not an EAGLE file.

Probably because I use Version 7.5 and they were written in 6.5. I tried to create my own library from the drawings provided on the arduino site but I had no sucess (I am a noob)

I've downloaded and exported libraries for many boards and have not had issues using the parts in Eagle 7.5.
If you just want the board, say to make a shield, save the Micro as another file name, then strip out all the parts except the headers on the schematic, and rip all the traces on the board. Then add your design to the schematic and go from there.

I'll bet you downloaded it from github right? If you directly download files from github, they get munged.

Go here, SS12P2L-M3/86A Vishay General Semiconductor - Diodes Division | Discrete Semiconductor Products | DigiKey Click "download zip file", and extract it to get working .lbr files.

"Welcome to our Digi-Key Online Library Export Tool. You will be able to add parts from Digi-Key and from our database of over seven million parts with a limit of five free parts per month."
5 a month. Seems a bit limiting.
Newark.com also has eagle symbols for many parts once you register. Download a script and run it to create a new library.

Scroll down ~ 1/3 and see the CadSoft_Eagle library symbol. Need to register, then log in.

There are tutorials for eagle - creating a library part isn't horrendously hard especially if its just a breakout
with 0.1" pitch connectors - worth having a go certainly.

Element14 has a good Eagle library for all the Arduinos.
