Eagle parts

Where can I find these eagle parts?

MAX3040, MAX3043, or equivalent SN75174 or 26LS31

MAX3093, MAX3095 or equivalant 26LS32?

I find it really aggravating trying to locate parts in eagle.

Are there other libraries I should be downloading outside of the standard installation?

Thanks
Robert

And can someone remind me what command is to get parts back on grid? I have a couple of resistors that are off grid that I can't get connected.

Thanks again.

regarding the libraries, i can't help but maybe you should just make your own, it's really quick to do so

as to re-aligning parts to grid, I usually manually edit the coordinates of a part to do this

to move a part on-grid, hold down the alt (or command) key as you are picking it up for the MOVE command.

The MAX parts are in the Maxim library. I couldn't find the others.

You do no about "use *" to search all the libraries and then typing "max3040" in the search box of the "add" command, right?

Although I think this is case sensitive...

The EAGLE search is much too picky about what it accepts.

I have the standard libraries, the SFE library and then I download various extra ones from here occasionally.

Sometimes you just gotta make your own part footprints though.

To snap parts to Grid, select Move, select the part and press Ctrl when moving the part.

That doesn't work

I just tried this, it works :-D, westfw, I think you meant CTRL, not ALT

Alt uses the alternative grid, that usually is 10 times finer than the displayed grid, its usefull for placing silkscreen's and when routing in thigh places or fine piteched chips.

Depends what you set it to

I can't say that I'd manage to stick to 0.1" and 0.01" for long. Normally I have 0.05" and 0.025"

Ok. Let me get this back on topic again. Was off the air for the last couple of days with a broken power jack, just received a replacement in the mail today, got my Vaio laptop dissassembled & reassembled with the new part, so have power again!

Anyway,
I was able to find these tonight (by accident tho, so my searching technique needs work apparently):
MAX3040, MAX3043
MAX3093, MAX3095 in the MAX304* and MAX309* library, . Thanks to whomever mentioned they were in the MAXIM library.

So, here's my real question:
Does anyony have eagle symbols for this MOLEX SD spring-loaded connector or a similar type?
(Preferably as a purchasable part from a US supplier.)
This is way beyond what I would be comfortable attempting as a newb eagle user, as I haven't figured out how to create or manipulate symbols yet, and I need the footprint to be correct for this.
It could just be a case of not knowing eagle well enough to enter a search term that works. I looked thru con-molex and did not see any parts like this, or part numbers that looked like digikey/molex offerings

Thanks

Both the sparkfun and adafruit EAGLE libraries contain microSD sockets, though it's hard to tell at a glace whether they match this particular version.

The joys of no standards in many parts - things like this often seem to have a tab in a different place or a pad 1mm off or something stupid.
Just gotta learn to print stuff out to test before getting them fabbed.

Thanks, I'll take a look and see if I can find them. Am not stuck having any one in partiular, just want push-in, push to release, and procurable in the US.
Low cost wouldn't hurt. Once I findt them I can research pricing.
