Ecran LCD illisible avec LCDSmartie

J'ai récemment décidé de me construire un petit module avec un LCD afin de l'utiliser avec le logiciel LCD Smartie. Pour cela j'ai pris un Arduino Uno R3, un écran 4x20 de chez AZ-Delivery basé sur un HD44780 et utilisé le code provenant d'un tuto, mais je rencontre un problème sur lequel je sèche.

Lorsque j'envoie mon code depuis l'IDE Arduino, tout est ok:

Mais dès que j'essaye de le faire communiquer avec LCD Smartie, la position des caractères part dans tous les sens, ce qui me laisse une zone ne s'actualisant pas en bas à droite et des lignes qui se "croisent".

Je l'utilise avec le plugin matrix.dll configuré à 9600 bauds.
