For the engineering kit - R2, One of the review says " The product is significantly outdated, making it impossible to install the necessary software for project completion."
Is there a latest kit that we can purchase or what's the alternative.

I think that that commenter doesn't know what they're talking about.
Perhaps they are thinking that it was based on an "Uno R2", but even that wouldn't "impossible to install software."
The "Arduino Nano 33 IoT" is a current product.
The only thing that seems outdated on the page you linked is the operating system requirements. E.g. if you want to use IDE 2.x in combination with Windows, you will need Windows 10 or higher.
