avrdude done. Thank you.

Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1

The error may occur if you select a wrong board or a wrong PORT. Please check these things.

are you in fact using an "Xplained Mini" development board?
If so, did you burn the bootloader? (or try setting the "programmer" to mEDBG, and using "upload using programmer.)

no.
using atmel MEGA328PB

In what board, with what core, and what procedure to burn the bootloader?

The Xplained mini needs to upload at 57600bps, with a matching bootloader, because that’s the highest speed supported by the debug circuit on that board, but MOST boards use 115200bps.

in a uno board, i dont know how to identificate the core and the bootloader have already came installed from the store.
P.S.: I'm (as you obviouslly already figured) completely new to arduino world.

I do not think your board is an _xplained_mini with a AT328PB.
What reason do you have to believe that it is that board?

It is more likely a regular Uno with an AT328, Try selecting Uno as the board.

Why do you think it has an mega328pb processor? Uno, and Uno clones, will normally have just a plane mega328p processor (which is different.)
(I cannot read the markings on the chip, in the photo you posted.)

(the 328pb is cheaper than the 328p, and it's "mostly" compatible, so it's not entirely impossible that your board has a 328pb. In that case, there would be two "typical" paths:

  1. The processor is loaded with an Uno bootloader, and "pretends" to be a 328p, even though it's a 328pb. In this case, you should just select "Uno" as the board type.
  2. The processor is loaded with a (correct) 328pb bootloader, and should be used with a board type that directly supports the 328pb. (It looks like you have tried to do this via the "328pb xplained mini" board type, but that is almost certainly not the correct.) The usual choice is MCUDude's "MiniCore", which has menu items for the different variants of the 328. (However, the most recent MiniCore uses a new bootloader, and I don't know whether that has propagated to "derivative" boards. It may or may not work with older bootloaders :frowning: )

Yes. It is written on te chip "pb". But I will try all these tips you gave me. This might be the solution. Tnks for all the time you've spent

Yes.. Using uno sometimes works. Using mini never worked.

I believed that it was a mini because it was teh only option describing atmega328PB

THIS WORKED, THE ARDUINO BOARD IS WORKING AGAIN. PROBLEM SOLVED. THANK YOU VERY Much.

What is "THIS"?
