Error in reading wind speed using esp32

Hi!!!I need your assistance with a problem I am facing. I built a weather station. esp32 board was used in this project. I used a hall sensor with a magnet in the wind speed measuring part (ANEMOMETER). Previously the method I used was when 20 counts of magnet counted by the hall sensor, it will count the time for 20 counts and output the average wind speed. Code worked fine with the esp32 board. But for better accuracy, I changed the method. Now the method is within 20 seconds how many counts of the magnet were detected will be output as an average wind speed. Since then the wind speed reading couldn't be seen on the serial monitor. ( I have the wind speed part of the code built for the Arduino Uno & it works fine with both methods). The Arduino sketch is below. The only change I did in 2 methods are

if (revolutions>=20) { was changed to if ((millis ()-timeold)==30000) {

What is the problem?
Having built the code You have You ought to handle that change.

Better accuracy? Really? After 20 seconds, you have some integer count but an unknown fractional time before the first pulse and after the second pulse.

Has the OP considered using the built in PCNT to do the wind speed readings?

In the following code I have a WInd Speed, and Rainfall detection using the ESP32's built in Pulse Counter.

The PCNT is a module inside the ESP32 that can count pulses without CPU intervention.

Pulse Counter (PCNT) - ESP32 - — ESP-IDF Programming Guide latest documentation (espressif.com) <<< The docs.

Looking at task '''void fAnemometer( void *pvParemeters )'''. The task immideatly clears any count collected at startup and then resumes counting. The PCNT_UNIT_0 was setup to count any received pulses in GPIO_NUM_15. As the cups spin around making pulses the PCNT stores those pulses. The task gets triggered every minute. At trigger the PCNT is paused, the counter values is cleared, and the PCNT is allowed to resume.

Works great.

this should be
if ((millis ()-timeold) >= 30000) {
in case you miss the count of 30000.

Hi, is the code complete? where can I define the mqtt server? Thx
