Error uploading on Mac: avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync:

Hi!
I'm new on the Arduino Community, and after unboxing my Arduino, I couldn't start using it due to an error.

  • I have a clone board (Elegoo Uno R3) with Atmel Atmega328P microcontroller.
  • I'm running macOS Mojave 10.14 .
I was going to run the most basic program (Blink) (changing the delay time) and when Arduino IDE was going to upload the program, I got this error:

Note: The correct board and USB port were selected.

Arduino:1.8.8 (Mac OS X), Tarjeta:"Arduino/Genuino Uno"

The board was executing the preloaded program and when I try to upload the new program to the board, the RX LED blinks, and when I open the Serial Monitor, a LED blinks (it's not labeled, and it's the same led that blinks with the program Blink) so the computer is having connection with the Arduino.

Then, to discard that the problem was the board itself, I moved to a Windows 7 computer from a friend, and uploaded the same program as I tried to upload on the Mac and it worked perfectly!

So then, I moved back to the Mac and reinstalled Arduino IDE, tried to upload with programmer... nothing worked.
I tried running OS X El Capitán and Arduino IDE crashed all time, so I couldn't try ::slight_smile:

Nothing is plugged onto the board, I only tried to use the built in led.

Don't know if I forget something, so ask me

And sorry if I have some mistakes writing!

Thank you.
