ESP32 + LTE 5G ROUTER No Internet

I have been using LTE routers as my permanent internet for >10 years (different ones Tp-Link, Huawei and ZTE ).
ATM I have Huawei B535 router, more than 10 Esp32 devices connected to it. Working without hiccups.

I had a look on Huawei B535 router and looks compatible. The issue I have at the moment is that this project (ESP32) will be fitted in to a vehicle. So it must be compact and works with either 12V or USB power.

My router was just an example, I previously had some "mobile ones" as well, working reliably up to certain limits (also with esp32 devices). I don't recommend anything here though.
Also, B535 takes regulated 12V, should be doable from vehicle with simple voltage regulator.

Thanks

One approach is also to run it through 12V "UPS".

Thanks. The idea is to connect direct to the battery, either direct 12v or via converting 12v through to a USB (5v) output.

Yep, most routers take 12VDC (B535 included), but vehicle battery voltage can be up to 14.5V while charging. That's why you need some regulator to give stabile 12V.

If you still want to go with mobile router (not my suggestion), pick a reputable brand like Huawei.

I had another problem, to solve it I had to pretend to be ESP32 a well-known browser and then IP packets would go to the Internet via LTE
